Acoustiflect
was designed by Graeme Philip, Managing Director of
John Herber Ltd and is manufactured by Grant Edmonds of
Edmonds
Manufacturing. Graeme recognized a need for sound reflective panels or Sound Shells
for Auditoriums, School stages and Event venues etc here in New
Zealand, hence putting pen to paper and started designing the Acoustiflect
Sound Reflection Panels.
Acoustiflect's Main Features
Acoustiflect
has many features
such as Adjustable Height to 4.400m, Adjustable Top Angle, Self braking
winch, Lockable Castor wheels, Tawa wood grain finish, One person operation
& is stackable for easy storage.
Fully Tested Acoustiflect
has been tested by Canterbury University with amazing results and
they have issued a full
Test Report.
The results fo the test show that the Absorption Coefficient of the Acoustiflect panel is less than
0.07 at all frequencies from
100 Hz to 5 kHz, with no unusual absorption characteristics of concern. Materials with an absorpstion coefficient of less than 0.10 are highly reflective.
Acoustiflect has also been assessed and approved in a full
Report from Marshall Day (world renowned) Acoustic Engineers.
We Can Accommodate Any Changes As Acoustiflect is manufactured to order, we can build them to suit
your specific needs or work closely with each individual client
to come up with a solution or design change that you may require.
A good example of this was for Orchestra Victoria in Australia,
(as shown in the pics below) when we supplied them with 20 units.
They required the 'Top Tilting Panel' to be clear so it did not
cast a shadow from the low ceiling lighting above. We simply used
a clear Perspex in place of the standard board. This turned out
to be a success and the client was very pleased with the end result.

Lighting Bar Reflector Panels
We
have designed a Concaved Acoustic Reflector Panel that simply clamps
on to your existing lighting bars. These are a great way to help
stop your all important performance sound disappearing up into the
Fly Tower and instead, project it out into your audience. Email
